Colin Burke McClure is a Senior Partner at BlueConnect Partners, where he leads IoT and connected product strategy work. He brings more than 25 years of experience across consumer electronics, smart home, industrial IoT, and infrastructure, spanning product strategy, go-to-market execution, and hands-on technical leadership. He advises clients on edge-to-cloud architecture, AI and machine learning integration, connected product cybersecurity, and launch planning. Colin has built products, launched brands, and run the infrastructure behind them, so he can work with engineering, marketing, and executive teams in the same engagement.
Colin has held senior leadership roles at Monster Cable Products, Niveus Media, Atlona Technologies, and MiOS, where he and Lew Brown built the company’s OEM and white-label business before its sale to Ezlo. Across these roles, he led product strategy, market positioning, and platform development where consumer electronics, high-fidelity audio, and the connected home meet. He joined BlueConnect in 2020 as a Senior Consultant and was named Senior Partner in 2026.
Colin works at whatever altitude an engagement needs, from board-level strategy down to the architecture and security decisions that determine whether a connected product ships and holds up in the field. He works directly with client product and engineering teams, reviews platform choices, audits infrastructure, and turns a go-to-market plan into a launch sequence people can execute. He stays in the details long enough to know a plan will work in production, and he tells clients plainly when it won’t.

Outside work, Colin is usually behind a camera, training for his next half marathon, or making the case for a good Cabernet Franc. He serves as Chair of the Emeryville Parks and Recreation Committee. Home base is in Emeryville, California, with his wife, Amy, their three kids, and Huxley, a French Bulldog who steals every scene.
